The Interview(s)

Okay, so the day before yesterday I was pumped up: two interviews in the same day! The fact that I had an interview thrilled me, not to mention two! Yippeee... Skippeee.

Interview #1 was clear the hell out in North Phoenix. It may be one thing that I am living in Tempe, but the drive to get there was well over an hour. What was I thinking? Record breaking heat in Arizona (what's new?) but I also had a three piece suite on- getting dressed fresh out of a hot shower, rushing around to get dressed realizing that everything that I own is too tight, too short or I am just TOO FAT! Not a good way to start the day.... regardless, off into the blistering sun I ran... The building (strip mall) offices for "Level 1 Enterprises" (the name should of given it away, I'd think, if not the location!! I just was not thinking...) so I bagged that bullshit interview and left early. Ring.... Ring... it's the folks from the other company that I am interviewing with in the blistering afternoon...

Interview #2 was just as bad as the first. I do not even think that it was a legit company not to mention a total and complete waste of time. It just pisses me off to no end that these bullshit companies waste peoples time with postings on line of "HR" when they do not even have an HR Department, let alone a license to even do business. Oh and neither one off them were even listed on the NASDAQ... I guess the writing was on the wall, as well as my Blog, with LEVEL 1 ENTERPRISES and GDR & Associates.

Miss Moneypenny's

This afternoon brings the question of HOUSE music into play. I am sitting here having a cocktail listening to Miss Moneypenny's set from last weekend in the U.K. Fierce. So, in all my years of playing- one thing has remained consistent. My love for house. I am a disc o queen, I love me some Zepplin as well as the Beatles, B-52's, Moody Blues, Thompson Twins and Britney (SPEARS BITCH! C'om on now...) and every now and then, I love some really crunchy country... Hello, ANTHONY! (God, how I miss my North Carolina crack head hot tamale!) key word: CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH.

I will now and forever love and never forget the emotions, the spiritual awakening dancing and music give me. HOUSE music just happens to kick it into overdrive for me. Even when I am not visited by one of my vices... Thank you to all the CIRCUIT DJ's, SF HOUSE DJ's that have helped shape and make me a better person, if anytyhing by just listening to your music.

XO

First blog- ever.

Hey. I do not think that Facebook chatting nor Twitter count as a blog, so yes, this is my first blog- ever. Will anyone ever read this? Who cares- this is my new and improved and CHEAPER form of therapy. And I have a ton to get out...

So this is Spring 2009. Teagan is 8 this up and coming month (the 14th of April) and I am moving into a new place in Tempe. YIPPEE! Life is good... but I think what shocks me more about the here and the now is that I am happy. As many of my friends and family know, a year ago, I was happy- LOL. If you consider living in cracked out flop house with a bunch of loser drug addicted liars cheats and thieves with no power HAPPY, then yes, that year in Seattle was pure bliss.... But that is another blog for another day ("Roof" is already in the works on paper) :)

Back in the day (God, I hat that term, but I use it so much!) I always referred to my inner circle as The Brettiverse. Much the same style as Craig from Craigslist. Go out, do things, then send E-mails about my world. The Brettiverse. So this is a long time coming, I suppose... but for now, duty calls... Teagans duty- not mine. :)
